The Gathering Place

Hi, I’m Hindy — and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. Like many women, I always imagined motherhood would be part of my story. But life had other plans, and I am childless not by choice. Living in a world where so much revolves around family and children hasn’t always been easy. Holidays, family gatherings, even social media — all of it can sometimes feel like a reminder of what’s missing. At the same time, I’ve learned that my life still has meaning, love, and joy — even if it looks different than what I once hoped for. Why I’m Starting The Gathering Place Over the years, what I’ve longed for most is a place to belong — where other women who share this path can connect and understand each other without explanation. Especially within the Jewish community, where family is such a central value, the experience of being childless can feel isolating.
